　天冷，发生脑出血的危险性大大增加。南京有家医院，曾在一次气温骤降的两小时内就急诊收治了6名突然发生脑出血的高血压病患者，病人的年令在55－80岁之间。
　　 脑出血是常见的症状，寒冷是中风的重要诱因。
　　 据英国学的研究，气温若降低到零下5摄氏度，每百万人的中风病死率每天将达到4.8人，而在17摄氏度时的死亡数为3.2人。
　　 美国杂志曾报道说，有两位老人因在严寒天外出购物而突发脑出血。还有一老人仅因为用手擦掉汽车挡风玻璃上的积雪而诱发中风。
　　 原因在于，寒冷刺激会使血管猛然收缩、血压升高，帮易使原本脆弱的脑血管破裂而引起脑出血，寒冷以易使血粘度增高而致脑栓。一般说，凌晨2－6点的血粘度最高，此时温度最低，受冷就更易发生中风了。
　　 所以，平时患有高血压、高血脂、高血糖的中老年人，在冷天一定要注意保暖，要及时增加衣、被和添置保暖设施，睡前也宜用热水泡泡脚.
