　冬季是风湿病最容易复发和加重的季节,在我国北方尤其如此.风湿病包括风湿热、类风湿性关节炎、骨质增生性疾病等多种病症.风、寒、湿等外邪或单独或联合侵犯人体,闭阻经络,导致气血运行不畅,使肌肉、筋骨、关节发生麻木、酸痛,重者屈伸不利,形成中医称作痹症的病.痹症严重时可导致"关节肿大变形,弯腰驼背渐至足不能行、手不能抬,日常生活不能自理"等.如果出现"心跳、气短、汗出、食少便溏、腰酸遗精"等症,那就是累及了内脏.此病症的预后多留有不良症状.
　　 痹症的发生与体质的盛衰以及气候条件、生活环境有密切的关系.劳累后或大量出汗后,身体被风寒湿邪侵袭,可导致发病.可见,正值新陈代谢旺盛的年轻人,冬季出汗后,一定注意不能受风吹,中医将痹症分为实痹、虚痹两大类,治疗也是依虚、实来治的.
　　 风湿病患者在冬季要注意保暖、防潮,内衣汗湿后应及时换洗,被褥要勤晒,感冒后要彻底治疗,防止病邪内传.劳逸结合,饮食有节,积极锻炼身体,配合着中医中药,风湿病会得到治疗的.
